How I work
What gets decided before, during and after the day
I scout the venue before the day, on site, on their own website or on Google Maps. If your wedding is a long way off, I stay nearby the night before, so that I am rested and fully present on the day.
I never ask anyone to pose. No "do that again", no glance at the lens on request. The images that still hold ten years later are the ones where nobody is thinking about me, and getting them means being willing to wait, sometimes a long time, for a moment to arrive on its own.
I like to talk to the photographer first thing in the morning, ten minutes is enough, to get organised and work as a team. I have always been able to adapt around their work, so that each of us delivers the best of our own.
I treat sound as seriously as image. In a church that echoes, vows recorded from the back of the nave are vows lost to the film. Speeches often carry an entire edited sequence on their own: the emotion is already there, it just has to be captured properly.

The venues I have filmed in
And how far I travel
I am based in Mayenne, in western France, and that is where I set out from. I have filmed across six departments so far, from Brittany to the Loiret, and I document every estate where I have spent a full day with a camera in hand: the light, the sound, the distances, the rhythm the place imposes.
I travel anywhere in France, and anywhere in the world. On distant weddings, scouting the day before and staying overnight are part of the service. A wedding abroad simply needs planning earlier, and is quoted according to the journey.
