Wedding venues in Loiret, seen by a videographer
The Loiret is where I travel most outside Mayenne. Between the Loire Valley châteaux and the estates of Sologne, it offers two very different atmospheres, and two ways of filming a wedding. Here are the venues I know from having worked there.
The venues I have filmed
For these, I can tell you what happens once the camera is rolling: the light, the sound, the distances, the rhythm of the day.
Château de ChangyGy-les-Nonains
Twelve hectares of parkland crossed by a river, a 300 m² orangery seating 250, and 57 beds. The estate hosts one wedding at a time: no other group in the park, no other crew to work around. For a videographer, that is the comfort of setting up a shot and waiting for the right light.
Domaine de la ThionnièreCerdon-du-Loiret
A Sologne longère in the heart of the region, with lakes, gîtes and a hall for 100 guests. The water changes everything: it brings reflections, and therefore depth, and above all a rare acoustic calm. An outdoor ceremony beside a lake is captured without road noise to rescue in the edit.
Other venues in the department
These estates are among the better-known reception venues in the area. I have not filmed there yet: I list them to help your search, without being able to describe them from the inside. Please check capacities and availability directly with them.
- Château de Sully-sur-Loire - Sully-sur-Loire
- Château de Meung-sur-Loire - Meung-sur-Loire
- Château de la Bussière - La Bussière
This list is not exhaustive. If you have found a venue that is missing, tell me about it: I add to this page as I film there.
Frequently asked questions
Do you film weddings in Loiret?
+Yes. Studio SB is based in Mayenne and works regularly in Loiret: Orléans, Montargis, Gien, Sully-sur-Loire and the whole of Sologne. Wedding film packages start from €1,400, drone included when the venue and the weather allow.
How do you choose a wedding venue in Loiret?
+Beyond the number of covers and the rate, look at three points: the length of exclusive use, which gives the day its rhythm; on-site accommodation, which extends the evening; and how isolated the estate is, which governs the ceremony's sound.
Does the venue really change the wedding film?
+Yes, more than most couples imagine. Sologne brick warms skin tones, the lakes add reflections and depth, and the quiet of the woodland lets a ceremony be recorded without stray noise. That is why I describe each estate.
