Wedding venues in Morbihan, seen by a videographer

The Manoir de Gouézac, a wedding venue in Grand-Champ, Morbihan
The Manoir de Gouézac, Grand-Champ. Still from a Studio SB film.

Morbihan draws weddings for a simple reason: in late May the light sets late and stays warm for a long time. That is a gift for a film. Here is the venue I know from spending a full day there, camera in hand.

The venues I have filmed

For these, I can tell you what happens once the camera is rolling: the light, the sound, the distances, the rhythm of the day.

Manoir de GouézacGrand-Champ

A Breton family house fifteen kilometres from Vannes and Auray: a pale stone façade, slate shutters, a formal garden and large stone outbuildings. The estate can be privatised entirely and has accommodation on site, which changes the rhythm of the day: nobody is checking their watch for the drive home.

Other venues in the department

Morbihan has many other estates, châteaux and character farms. I do not list them here until I have worked there: I would rather keep a short, reliable page than add another directory. This section grows with every new wedding.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Studio SB is based in Mayenne and works regularly in Morbihan: Vannes, Auray, Lorient, Ploërmel and the Gulf of Morbihan. Wedding film packages start from €1,400, drone included when the venue and the weather allow.

Past the guest count and the price, three things bear on the film: the rental duration, which structures the day; the estate's accommodation, which prevents early departures; and distance from roads, which protects the sound recording.

Yes, markedly. Morbihan granite hardens contrast on faces, nearby water and moorland open up the wide shots, and a venue away from roads allows clean voice recording. Each estate is described from that angle.
